Workshops

Workshops help reconnect your relationship with your body and mind through the power of movement training. The workshop brings together like-minded people of all levels and abilities to share the same experience to enhance personal growth and understanding through movement and mobility training.

The workshops are a snapshot of different movement practices; here are some of the areas that get covered on a typical workshop : Power of the breath, how to understand breath mechanics to control physical and mental state in stressful situations and when exerting energy through all activities

Movement analysis, during the workshop the group will get to understand biomechanics and necessary postural screening process to understand personal limitations and how to improve these Joint health, joints are the play for our body. Creating control at every joint is vital for long term health and resilience to mitigate injury and pain.

Fascial stretching, the body is made of kinetic chains. Not individual muscles as most anatomy textbooks will illustrate. During the workshop, a variety of whole-body loaded and unloaded movements to help alleviate daily ‘tightness’ will be addressed. Movement play, having a background in dance and more recently soft acrobatics the workshop will incorporate soft play and movements to bring everything together.

The workshops are great opportunity to connect with like minded people who share the same desire and passion to optimise the human body and others around them.
